Seasoned Expat is a general-interest business intelligence publication for your industry. It is produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence and aggregates publicly available information. It is provided for general informational purposes only.
Not professional advice
Seasoned Expat is a general, impersonal publication for business owners. It is not individualized business, financial, medical, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making business, financial, medical, or legal decisions.
Subscriptions & billing
- The free brief is provided at no cost. The Pro brief is a paid subscription of $20 per month, billed through our payment processor, Stripe.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime — your access continues through the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again.
- Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice; changes apply to future billing periods.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — including by scraping at scale, redistributing or reselling the briefs without permission, attempting to disrupt the site, or using it for any unlawful purpose. The free and paid briefs are licensed for your own professional use.
Intellectual property
The Seasoned Expat name, design, and original editorial selection and analysis are the property of Quill & Harbor LLC. Underlying facts and third-party sources remain the property of their respective owners. You may share individual articles with attribution and a link.
No warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to be accurate and timely, but we do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or error-free, or that the site will be uninterrupted. You rely on the information at your own discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quill & Harbor LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, Seasoned Expat. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
